The Cockpit utility gate still expected five modes and an inherited NOIR
entry. Cycle all seven modes, check each drives only its own shader and that
Normal clears them all, enter on a Noir map preset, and restore it through
Exit Cockpit and Reset.

Preserve all published token assignments and add regression coverage for
