routeDistanceText checked the raw meters against 1000 but printed them rounded to tens, so 995 m or more read "1000 m". Compare the rounded value so it moves to kilometres.
routeDurationText checked the raw seconds against 60 but printed them rounded, so a leg of 59.5 s or more read "60 s". Compare the rounded seconds so it moves to minutes.
- i18n scanner: lastError sink, no false sinks on defaults and ternaries
- shared src/i18n/marker.js for modules that only mark strings
- wind field messages move to wind/fields.js; CITY_POIS imports from cityPois.js
- drop review IDs, change history and stale references from comments and docs

Fixes the 51 P0–P2 findings from the full review of the i18n branch and
the issues found while checking every new string on screen in ru and es.
- Translate errors and statuses that still reached ru/es in English:
feed and tile errors, provider statuses, the ALPR chip, the traffic
mode chip, voice plan step labels, fire feed values, receiver bands,
scene save reasons and the Cesium attribution link.
- Show preset city names in the UI language (src/ui/placeNames.js);
data and everything sent to the model stay English.
- Share layer names between the layer panel, HUD and voice card
(src/ui/layerNames.js).
- Keep long ru/es strings whole: voice card error lines, analyst
titles, the voice tier status, the Nepal evidence button, the ALPR
retry chip. English layout is unchanged.
- Ask before a language switch drops unsaved work.
- Catalog fixes: glossary terms (пуск, пресет), gender agreement and
consistent "peticiones" in es, fewer calques in both languages.
- Fix English text that was itself wrong (e.g. "Exit cockpit to fly to
a weather", raw tool ids in voice plan steps).
Catalogs: es/ru 2535 messages each, complete.

Two other models reviewed the ru and es review PDFs. What held up:
- Directions: Russian reads "держитесь левее" at a fork and "займите
левую полосу" for a lane, Spanish "toma el carril izquierdo". Forks and
lanes get their own direction words; English is unchanged.
- Weather timestamps read "13.10 19:04 UTC" / "13/10 19:04 UTC" instead
of "10-13", which read as a range. English keeps "10-13".
- Cockpit coordinates write the hemisphere out in Russian ("30,312° с.
ш."): a lone «С» after a degree sign read as Celsius.
- A layer whose source joins several providers shows each name in the UI
language ("Mapillary · Google Просмотр улиц").
- Vessel speed uses the locale's decimal separator.
- Layer names no longer hyphenate into two-letter pieces ("es-paciales").
- Catalog: wrong meanings (cyclone centre, STREAMING, credited source,
"DE OÍDAS"), calques ("Пацифика", "Активная погода", "Прочитать вид",
"referrer", worker), Russian "щёлкните по …", shorter Spanish labels
that were cut (voice status, PREAJUSTES, search placeholder) and one
term per concept.

Main added the Google Street View street-level provider and key guidance
that offers another source. Its new text goes through t()/msg() with ru
and es entries; the key guidance the panel shows is built in the UI
language by src/ui/keyGuidance.js, while keySetupCore.mjs keeps the
English sentences the server and AI tools use.

- Satellite class in analyst records and voice payloads stays English
("STATION", "COMMS"), so voice filters on the class work in every
language; cards and the legend still show the translated label.
- Layer source names (OSM routing, ALPR sources) stay English in layer
state; the layer row translates them.
- New translateKnown(): catalog text when there is an entry, the given text
otherwise, with no warning. The layer row uses it for loading labels and
errors, Recent Imagery for its notices.
- Mark the remaining Recent Imagery and wind messages.

A review of the Russian UI screenshots found ~90 places where longer words
broke the layout or text was still English. Fixed so they hold for any
language, then shortened where a control is short by design.
- Layout: label columns that size to their text (weather and wind settings,
Recent Imagery slots and opacity, style sliders, display panel), layer
list names and icons, buttons that wrap instead of overflowing (CCTV,
scenes, Bhote Koshi), voice header that always shows the cost, styled
EN | ES | RU chips, voice error tray above the dock.
- t() context: t('CLEAR', { context: 'action' }) is «СБРОСИТЬ» while the sky
stays «ЯСНО»; also used for radio categories, voice states and directions.
- Units and dates follow the locale through src/ui/unitLabels.js
(formatQuantity: localized number, translated unit, non-breaking space):
wind, pressure, cyclones, directions, CCTV, SDR gain, scene timing, flight
tooltip, Recent Imagery dates and resolution.
- Newly translated: directions turn-by-turn steps (built from the maneuver;
English matches the server word for word), HUD mode and summary, voice
card states, radio categories on the globe, CCTV status, layer source
lines, scene dialogs (Cancel, file pickers), Bhote Koshi statuses, titles,
comparison dates and caveat, Recent Imagery notices. Stored data and text
for AI tools stay English.
- es and ru: 1,885 messages each.

Mark every UI string the unmarked-text check reported (534) plus text it
cannot see (helpers, joined labels, runtime-built panels), and translate
the result to Spanish and Russian: 1,679 messages each.
- Kept on purpose, with the reason where the text lives: provider and
product names, place and camera names, codes and units, dB values, the HUD
terminal readouts, demo shot titles that saved projects look up by title,
and text for AI tools and the voice model.
- Modules shared with the server or AI tools stay free of the i18n import
(local msg); the wind reading and voice session stay English and are
translated where the page shows them.
- npm test now runs the unmarked-text check.
- Fixes on the way: a duplicated radio privacy paragraph, the contact panel
toggle saying Expand while open, the CSS filter mistaking & for CSS.

Conflicts with upstream's Street Level provider composition and share-state
codec, resolved:
- Street View's switch moves from its own share option (`g`) to upstream's
provider-switch field (`r`, e.g. `0.r.google-1`); a link without it keeps
Street View off. Docs and the browser gate follow.
- createApplicationStreetLevel keeps upstream's injectable provider list;
its default, once the application supplies its Street Level source, is
Mapillary plus Google Street View. Without that source there are none, as
upstream intends.
- The coverage hint keeps upstream's empty-composition message and joins
every switched-on provider's hint otherwise.
- CHANGELOG, README and SECURITY keep both sides' entries.

Google's Maps Platform terms forbid Street View imagery beside non-Google
maps, so the provider declares requiresMapStack: 'photoreal': off Google
3D its chip is dashed with the reason, lookups and opens skip it, and
leaving Google 3D closes its panorama.
- Ground clicks: only a click on the map itself (scenePick.isSurfacePick:
nothing picked or Google 3D tile content) at street zoom opens Street
View, and the camera stays put; higher up the hint says to zoom in.
scenePick.pickGroundPosition replaces the copy in Directions.
- Viewer: poses go out at once and again when the date and address
arrive, so an open never hangs on that lookup; one lookup per panorama,
seeded by the nearest lookup; a close settles a pending open; failed
lookups are asked again; poses follow position changes, not pano_changed.
- Loader: the gm_authFailure handler is installed once, so a retried load
reports a refusal once.
- Viewer host: a prewarm that lands after another provider took the host
is released; FIT/FILL availability is set on every open.
- Provider: a refusal while switched off reports no error over another
photo; SINCE compares against the end of Google's month; messages name
the referrer and network causes; FLAT says Street View is 360° only.
- The layer row names the key of the providers that are on; the MCP panel
CSP admits Street View's tiles, control images and photos.
- Tests for each, against fakes that now follow Google's event order; the
browser gate restores its state, waits instead of sleeping, aims its
panel clicks and corner drags, and asserts the camera stays put.

Traffic roads come from OpenFreeMap vector tiles, or TomTom flow tiles with a
key (Hybrid by default). Military areas use OpenFreeMap polygons with a bundled
worldwide name index; wide views show named points. ALPR reads an hourly
OpenStreetMap extract. Cockpit place context and country, state and US county
outlines use bundled Natural Earth and US Census data. Overpass is used only
when an operator configures their own endpoint.
Also: camera arrivals no longer land below ground, keyless terrain retries on
429, bounded relation geometry for configured Overpass, one shared
OpenStreetMap credit, and separate tile and API transports for embedders.
