German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 2f12cbf5c8 Merge remote-tracking branch 'origin/main' into german/hal-639-de
Conflicts in es, ru, zh-CN and zh-Hant catalogs: both sides appended keys
at the end (cyclone errors from this branch, routing refusals from main);
kept both.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 1eb9e06c49 i18n(de): apply review round 1
- Meaning fixes: playback connects to the broadcaster when it starts, browser
keys are restricted at the provider, clearing data layers switches them off
(ausschalten, not löschen), cockpit inputs are Quellen, Electronic is
Elektronische Musik, AIS types name vessels (SEGLER, LOTSENBOOT,
SANITÄTSDIENST, SCHNELLSCHIFF), contiguous US excludes Alaska/Hawaii,
wind and weather readings are model values, nearest frames are nearest in
time, cloud imagery and the brightness filter say what they are.
- NHC/CPHC advisories are Lageberichte, not Warnungen; cyclone strings use
 Wirbelsturm throughout. Glossary updated.
- Grammar: " oder " keeps its space as a join separator, "{x} konnte nicht
sauber beendet werden", Then: no longer doubles Dann, scene save reasons
continue the sentence in lower case, neutral "Warten auf".
- Spacing between numbers and units in the remaining nine readouts.
- Reroute tooltip: German mode nouns keep their capital (Auto, Fahrrad).
- Built-in Nepal shot titles localize in every language: the legacy scene
upgrade rebuilds its base shots without sourcePackId, so the pack's own
shots in the scene now vouch for them.
- Layout: the layer status column no longer shrinks under a wide chip, and
a mixed-case compound (ALPR-Kameras) may break at its hyphen; only capital
codes (ADS-B, RTL-SDR) stay unbroken. WIRD AKTIVIERT overlapped the name.
The Bhote step meta line may take a third line.

GPTmadeitandClaude Opus 5.5 1f77d2290c feat: add S2 GhostMaps live intel layer
Adds an "S2 GhostMaps" layer (Events group) that renders S2 Underground's
GhostMaps KMZ exports (Common Intelligence Picture, Kinetic 30d, Border
Crisis, Iran CIP/Kinetic, Yemen FLOT, latest incident drop).

- server/providers/ghostMaps.js: watcher polls the repo's git smart-HTTP
ref advertisement (default every 15s, GHOSTMAPS_POLL_SECONDS), fetches
the tree only on a new head, caches commit-pinned files by blob sha and
pushes catalog updates to browsers over SSE (/api/ghostmaps/events).
- src/layers/ghostMaps: KML reader, ArcGIS popup-table parsing, per-product
data sources, product chips, horizon-culled pins, report cards.
- Unit tests, QA gate (scripts/qa-ghostmaps.mjs), credits (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0),
 i18n, voice manifest, layer-state token 5.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 3157888780 i18n: fix the repeat-review findings
- Status pieces translate in one place (src/ui/statusText.js): a Local
ADS-B error with a single piece now translates, and the analyst card
splits empty-layer notes into pieces (Transit, Local ADS-B).
- Translate the ALPR retry chip text, the ECCC error on the Air quality
card, "Upstream response too large" and the "entry {n}" feed label.
- The unmarked-text check also sees error/loadingLabel/statusMessage/
status assignments, `status:` properties and showToast?.( /
this._showToast( calls; the scene import preview marks its pack
statuses, data and model-facing text carry i18n-ignore with a reason.
- Tests check the real code: the HUD locality formatter moves to
src/hudLocalityFormat.js, the unsaved-keys test pins the teardown.
- One copy each: city names come from src/cityPois.js, the GNSS HTTP
template and wind "field unavailable" texts; dead fallbacks removed.
- Leftovers of the reverted vessel-label change and the reformatting of
 detectionHost.test.mjs / keySetup.test.mjs are back to main.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 3adce33cc6 i18n: fix the final pre-merge review findings
Fixes the P1 and the confirmed P2 findings of the final review of the
i18n branch.

- CI: the air-quality model no longer imports i18n (portable module),
 so check:boundaries passes again.
- Air quality layer: named in the layer panel, HUD and voice; its
Weather card, bands and errors translate. A test keeps the layer-name
table in step with the layer registry.
- Layer statuses that still reached ru/es in English: GNSS, CelesTrak,
Transit loading and feed errors, launches, perimeters, ALPR, ECCC,
wind "field unavailable", Local ADS-B streaming lines.
- Voice and HUD: preset ids show city names ("Fly to San Francisco"),
the HUD city translates, cockpit refusals cover frame, aircraft and
satellite; empty Transit notes translate on the analyst card.
- tn() keeps a caller's formatted count ("12,345 map objects").
- Cyber HUD: the language button no longer covers the bottom-right
card or the cockpit position readout.
- CCTV buttons wrap only in non-English locales; English layout matches
 main again.
- Switching language asks first when Provider Settings holds unsaved
 keys.

Meir Michanie f3da0916d9 Merge upstream/main: air-quality layer (AQHI) meets i18n
Upstream's #568 adds the Air quality layer to the Weather group (ECCC
AQHI, Canada only) with a band legend, worst-first list and voice
support.

- package-boundaries: both sides' entries unioned.
- layerPanel/weatherPanel tests: both sides' new tests kept; the
weatherPanel fixture follows upstream (legendCategorical: true, the
'list' block id) while our localized-history (K-6) test stays.
- air-quality strings marked: band labels and the provider label as
 msg() data, the readings-list aria-label through t(); es/ru entries
 added (+6 keys each).
- The synthetic air-quality allocation-benchmark titles follow the
 file's own convention (// i18n-ignore) like TRK/VESSEL/CAMERA.

Also verified the auto-merged weatherPanel.js against upstream: ORDER
gains 'air-quality', OBSERVED stays slice(2, 5), and the data-driven
legendCategorical path is upstream's.

npm run i18n: complete (2559), no unmarked strings. npm test: only the
pre-existing environmental OPENAI_API_KEY leak fails. Build passes.

Sameh Khamis 129174c3ab fix(air-quality): show the Weather card, add voice support and bound the feed
The card never appeared: the Weather panel only passed five fixed ids and only
rendered lists and categorical legends for cyclones. Air quality now reaches
the panel, the legend style comes from the layer's descriptor, and any layer
with list items gets its list. Adds the voice manifest entry main now requires,
reads ECCC through the shared capped JSON reader with a 15 s deadline and the
row limit enforced, reports stale when every reading was too old, adds source
tests, links the ECCC licence and moves the changelog entry into Unreleased.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 7fd1dd867f Merge origin/main: Panoramax, bikeshare Norway/Detroit, cloud filter strength, Overpass cache
Conflicts:
- KartaView viewer moved into the shared photoViewer.js on main; its
labels now take the provider name ("{name} street-level photo") and
 are translated there.
- Weather: main's cloud filter strength slider, with its labels in t().
- Street Level caption: translated creator line plus main's licence.

Panoramax status and error texts are marked like KartaView's, and
"Panoramax answered HTTP {status}" gets a template in the panel and the
layer row. Catalogs: es/ru 2553 messages each, complete.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 00704ddc89 i18n: fix review findings and polish ru/es strings
Fixes the 51 P0–P2 findings from the full review of the i18n branch and
the issues found while checking every new string on screen in ru and es.

- Translate errors and statuses that still reached ru/es in English:
feed and tile errors, provider statuses, the ALPR chip, the traffic
mode chip, voice plan step labels, fire feed values, receiver bands,
scene save reasons and the Cesium attribution link.
- Show preset city names in the UI language (src/ui/placeNames.js);
data and everything sent to the model stay English.
- Share layer names between the layer panel, HUD and voice card
 (src/ui/layerNames.js).
- Keep long ru/es strings whole: voice card error lines, analyst
titles, the voice tier status, the Nepal evidence button, the ALPR
retry chip. English layout is unchanged.
- Ask before a language switch drops unsaved work.
- Catalog fixes: glossary terms (пуск, пресет), gender agreement and
consistent "peticiones" in es, fewer calques in both languages.
- Fix English text that was itself wrong (e.g. "Exit cockpit to fly to
a weather", raw tool ids in voice plan steps).

Catalogs: es/ru 2535 messages each, complete.

Sameh Khamis 046126eb36 Merge branch 'main' into feat/aqhi
Port to current main: main reserved layer-state token 0 for street-level, so
air-quality takes the next free token, 4 (registry, ledger, and the allocation
tests shift by one). Main moved source contracts into sourceComposition.js, so
air-quality registers its getSnapshot contract there. Package boundaries keep
main's lists plus this branch's air-quality modules and packages.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 8029747b7e Merge origin/main: GNSS integrity, geo file import and cockpit emergencies meet i18n
Conflicts resolved by keeping both sides: the Events group gains
gnss-integrity with a translated label, the cockpit aircraft line shows
main's transponder emergency through a localized formatter (cockpitMath.js
stays i18n-free, like the Context scope line), and the boundary lists keep
both the i18n modules and main's new data modules.

Main's new UI is translated into es and ru: the GNSS Integrity row, legend
and notes; geo file import (button, hints, list actions, every import
error, with numbers passed as placeholders); transponder status names.
Also formats kartaview/viewer.js so format:check passes.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 eed05721f2 fix(i18n): wording, dates and directions from the cross-model review
Two other models reviewed the ru and es review PDFs. What held up:

- Directions: Russian reads "держитесь левее" at a fork and "займите
левую полосу" for a lane, Spanish "toma el carril izquierdo". Forks and
lanes get their own direction words; English is unchanged.
- Weather timestamps read "13.10 19:04 UTC" / "13/10 19:04 UTC" instead
of "10-13", which read as a range. English keeps "10-13".
- Cockpit coordinates write the hemisphere out in Russian ("30,312° с.
ш."): a lone «С» after a degree sign read as Celsius.
- A layer whose source joins several providers shows each name in the UI
language ("Mapillary · Google Просмотр улиц").
- Vessel speed uses the locale's decimal separator.
- Layer names no longer hyphenate into two-letter pieces ("es-paciales").
- Catalog: wrong meanings (cyclone centre, STREAMING, credited source,
"DE OÍDAS"), calques ("Пацифика", "Активная погода", "Прочитать вид",
"referrer", worker), Russian "щёлкните по …", shorter Spanish labels
that were cut (voice status, PREAJUSTES, search placeholder) and one
 term per concept.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 03207ca0fc fix(i18n): Google controls, vessel units and counts follow the UI language
Screens that only open with provider keys showed a few gaps:

- Google Street View's own controls (Map Data, Terms, Report a problem)
and its addresses were always English: the Maps script now loads with
the UI language. English adds no parameter, as before.
- The selected-vessel HUD line kept KT and DEG after translated labels.
- Layer counts used a decimal point (12.0K); other languages use their
 own separator (12,0K).
- A collapsed rail title was cut with an ellipsis in Russian; tighter
tracking fits it whole. English is unchanged.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 8b0bb031b6 Merge origin/main: Google Street View provider, translated
Main added the Google Street View street-level provider and key guidance
that offers another source. Its new text goes through t()/msg() with ru
and es entries; the key guidance the panel shows is built in the UI
language by src/ui/keyGuidance.js, while keySetupCore.mjs keeps the
English sentences the server and AI tools use.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 2c74057b5e fix(i18n): keep values the AI tools read in English
- Satellite class in analyst records and voice payloads stays English
("STATION", "COMMS"), so voice filters on the class work in every
language; cards and the legend still show the translated label.
- Layer source names (OSM routing, ALPR sources) stay English in layer
state; the layer row translates them.
- New translateKnown(): catalog text when there is an entry, the given text
otherwise, with no warning. The layer row uses it for loading labels and
errors, Recent Imagery for its notices.
- Mark the remaining Recent Imagery and wind messages.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 0c647a791b fix(i18n): toast, boot labels and AI tool text found in review
- The Space Missions cancellation failure toast read "[object Object]" in
every language: the options object was passed as the message. The English
message is the second argument again, the translation the third.
- Header text is translated before panel chrome builds its collapse labels,
so the dock and display toggles no longer read "Expand VISUAL PRESETS" in
 another language.
- The voice "show data layers" result keeps the English layer name
(row data-layer-name), not the translated row text.
- The Google 3D unavailable reason is translated in full.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 a28e29e05e fix(i18n): restore English output changed by the i18n foundation
A side-by-side English comparison with main found text the branch changed:
- Layer list names: #601 let its own catalog names win over the panel's
English names, so "Live Vessels" read "Live AIS Vessels", "Bike Share"
"Bikeshare", "Cameras" "CCTV", "Data Centers" "Datacenters", "Active Fires"
"FIRMS Active Fires". The panel names win again.
- HUD feed-state suffix is "UNAVAILABLE LIVE AIS VESSELS" again (Russian keeps
 its colon); the mission panel aria-label is "Selected Space Mission" again;
scene shot timing is "4.0s + 0.9s" again.

Leo PechnickiandClaude eefcb338b3 feat(layers): GNSS interference layer from ADS-B NIC/NACp integrity
Bins airborne ADS-B v1/v2 aircraft that report degraded navigation
integrity (NIC < 7, NACp < 8, or readsb's GPS-loss flag) into 0.5 degree
cells over a rolling 30-minute window, coloured with the gpsjam.org
bands. Keyless: reads the capped adsb.lol point snapshot around the view
through /api/gnss-integrity, which returns integrity fields only, caches
60 s per whole-degree anchor, backs off on upstream 429 and serves the
last snapshot on failure. Adds scripts/qa-gnss.mjs.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 54dce5b3bd fix(i18n): second screenshot review: remaining English, numbers and wraps
From the re-shot Russian screenshots:
- Translated: weather frame/imagery status errors, HUD summary provenance
("НЕДОСТУПНО: СУДА AIS ОНЛАЙН"), Bhote Koshi map labels, cockpit signal
distances (КМ). The HUD summary fields are separated with " · " in every
language, so the style name and view band no longer read as one phrase.
- Numbers follow the locale: cockpit altitude ("26 175"), precipitation.
- No breaks inside codes and dates: ADS-B and similar in layer rows,
Sentinel-2, cyclone issue dates (word joiner; the UI font has no U+2011),
no-break space after label colons in cyclone details.
- Layout: count lines under ALPR, short unavailable chip (context
"status chip"), roomier draw segments, tighter CCTV calibration chips,
two-line beat titles and media card titles, wrapping weather status.
- Wording: ru advisory is «сводка» (was «бюллетень»; "Advisory center" is
«Центр циклона по сводке»), Street View is «Просмотр улиц», OPACITY
«НЕПРОЗР.», synced «синхр.», Area «Зона»; the import dialog no longer says
"this scene" for several scenes. Glossary updated.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 2b6ccad732 fix(i18n): fix Russian layouts and the gaps the screenshot review found
A review of the Russian UI screenshots found ~90 places where longer words
broke the layout or text was still English. Fixed so they hold for any
language, then shortened where a control is short by design.

- Layout: label columns that size to their text (weather and wind settings,
Recent Imagery slots and opacity, style sliders, display panel), layer
list names and icons, buttons that wrap instead of overflowing (CCTV,
scenes, Bhote Koshi), voice header that always shows the cost, styled
EN | ES | RU chips, voice error tray above the dock.
- t() context: t('CLEAR', { context: 'action' }) is «СБРОСИТЬ» while the sky
stays «ЯСНО»; also used for radio categories, voice states and directions.
- Units and dates follow the locale through src/ui/unitLabels.js
(formatQuantity: localized number, translated unit, non-breaking space):
wind, pressure, cyclones, directions, CCTV, SDR gain, scene timing, flight
tooltip, Recent Imagery dates and resolution.
- Newly translated: directions turn-by-turn steps (built from the maneuver;
English matches the server word for word), HUD mode and summary, voice
card states, radio categories on the globe, CCTV status, layer source
lines, scene dialogs (Cancel, file pickers), Bhote Koshi statuses, titles,
comparison dates and caveat, Recent Imagery notices. Stored data and text
 for AI tools stay English.
- es and ru: 1,885 messages each.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 3129e531e6 feat(i18n): translate the whole interface
Mark every UI string the unmarked-text check reported (534) plus text it
cannot see (helpers, joined labels, runtime-built panels), and translate
the result to Spanish and Russian: 1,679 messages each.

- Kept on purpose, with the reason where the text lives: provider and
product names, place and camera names, codes and units, dB values, the HUD
terminal readouts, demo shot titles that saved projects look up by title,
and text for AI tools and the voice model.
- Modules shared with the server or AI tools stay free of the i18n import
(local msg); the wind reading and voice session stay English and are
translated where the page shows them.
- npm test now runs the unmarked-text check.
- Fixes on the way: a duplicated radio privacy paragraph, the contact panel
toggle saying Expand while open, the CSS filter mistaking & for CSS.

Both panels landed after the original string extraction, so they rendered

Said TurkseverandClaude Opus 5.5 76db4114ff Merge upstream/main into pr/google-street-view
Conflicts with upstream's Street Level provider composition and share-state
codec, resolved:

- Street View's switch moves from its own share option (`g`) to upstream's
 provider-switch field (`r`, e.g. `0.r.google-1`); a link without it keeps
Street View off. Docs and the browser gate follow.
- createApplicationStreetLevel keeps upstream's injectable provider list;
its default, once the application supplies its Street Level source, is
Mapillary plus Google Street View. Without that source there are none, as
 upstream intends.
- The coverage hint keeps upstream's empty-composition message and joins
 every switched-on provider's hint otherwise.
- CHANGELOG, README and SECURITY keep both sides' entries.

German KhokhlovandClaude Opus 5.5 13efd411b6 refactor(i18n): key messages by English text; add Russian
Replace the semantic keys with the English source text, so code reads as the
UI does and English needs no catalog: t('Save keys'), tn(count, one, other)
for plurals, msg() for text stored in data, and bare data-i18n* markup that
translates the element's own English. Other languages are one flat JSON each.

- Simplify src/i18n: drop namespaces, the configurable locale pair
(GEV_DEFAULT_LOCALE / GEV_SECONDARY_LOCALE) and its build defines. Locale
comes from ?lang=, the stored choice, then browser languages.
- Add scripts/i18n.mjs (npm run i18n): extracts every message from t/tn/msg
and markup, and fails on missing, unused, placeholder-mismatched or
wrongly-shaped plural entries. npm test runs it via catalog.test.mjs.
- Add Russian (src/i18n/locales/ru.json, 833 messages), started from the
community catalog in #312 and reviewed against the current English.
- Fix data-i18n placed on parents that would wipe their children (cockpit
LEVEL and local weather cells, first-run EXPLORE MANUALLY tile), and a
doubled degree sign in the TRACK ACQUIRED signal.
- Rewrite docs/TRANSLATORS.md for the new workflow; drop sections the earlier
 merge resurrected in docs/CURRENT-STATE.md.

Sameh Khamis 5756ae92a8 Make catalog feed configuration optional and explicit 2026-10-09 17:35:38 -07:00
Said TurkseverandClaude Opus 5.5 e823e15025 fix(street-level): point a key-gated layer at Street View; button beside the hint
Review of #966: with a Google Maps key but no Mapillary token, switching
Street Level on read KEY REQUIRED / "Needs MAPILLARY_CLIENT_TOKEN" with
nothing about Street View, which stayed off (billing), so the layer looked
broken.

- While the switched-on providers lack their keys, the layer reports the
switched-off ones that would draw with a key already set
(keyAlternatives: Street View on Google 3D with a Google key). The
panel's KEY REQUIRED tooltip, its coverage line and the layer row's
tooltip then read "Needs MAPILLARY_CLIENT_TOKEN — add it in Provider
Settings, or light STREET VIEW to use your Google Maps key"
(keySetupWithAlternatives). Off Google 3D the plain KEY REQUIRED stays.
Street View stays off by default.
- OPEN STREET VIEW moves beside the coverage hint: at the default panel
width the PROVIDERS row has no room for it, so it wrapped onto a line of
 its own.
- The panel gate's corner drag names what lay under the pointer when it
 fails.

rileygramlich 8887ca47eb feat(air-quality): add the Air quality layer to the Weather group
Reworks #568 to the shape asked for in review.

Generalized from "AQHI" to a provider-backed Air quality layer, with ECCC's
AQHI as the first registered provider. Readings are carried as
{ provider, scale, value, band } rather than a bare number, because
air-quality indices are not interchangeable: AQHI runs 1-10+ on health risk,
the US AQI runs 0-500 on concentration breakpoints, and Europe's EAQI is a
five-step category. Naming the index a value belongs to is what lets another
network be added without inventing a shared numeric meaning. Coverage is
stated as "Canada only" on the provider, the layer row and the card.

Adds the WEATHER panel readout (readout: true) carrying the band legend and
the worst readings currently in view, with getRowControls/setRowControlsListener
following the wind and cyclone cards. An unresolvable view rectangle degrades
to the worst readings overall rather than to a blank card, and a rectangle
crossing the antimeridian is handled.

update() now takes the earthquakes layer's abort-and-guard shape: it aborts any
in-flight request, passes the signal through to the source, and refuses to
touch the scene when the request was superseded, aborted, or the layer was
disabled while it was outstanding. disable() and destroy() abort too. Tests
cover the late-response, superseded-refresh and disabled-update paths.

Rebased on main: the source is registered in src/sources/reference.js, and the
allocation profile was re-measured against the current worker — median 3,900
B/frame, max 4,114, 85.7 B/candidate, inside the shared 154 ceiling, budgeted
at 5,200 for 26% headroom. The earlier figures no longer held.

Freshness is now judged on the observation time rather than on when the last
response arrived. lastUpdate only says the feed answered; a station that keeps
returning a reading from four hours ago would otherwise be narrated as live by
the HUD and the voice provenance envelope. getStats() reports observedAt and
stale, so layerFeedState() calls the layer stale past two missed hourly
publications, and degraded when a refresh fails over readings that are still
good.

The share-link token is 0, which is what layer-token:next allocates. Taking it
moves the ledger fixtures that had hard-coded 0 as the free digit and 3 as the
one after; those shift to 3 and 4. The pinned equality between the reservation
ledger and LEGACY_LAYER_STATE_TOKENS also had to become "the closed legacy set
plus air-quality", since that set is documented as never growing. Happy to
re-pin this differently if you would rather the fixtures derive the provisional
digits from nextLayerStateToken() so the next layer does not move them again.

The layer and its source are registered as ./layers/air-quality and
./layers/air-quality/source, each with its own boundary group, following the
perimeters pair. check:boundaries requires the package exports and the group
exports to be the same set, so a layer that ships a source needs both.

Meir Michanie 284c4d4601 feat(i18n): presentation extraction — t() call sites, data-i18n templates, locale selector
Route every application-owned presentation string through the i18n
core: t() call sites across the app/layers/ui/data/voice surfaces,
data-i18n* attributes in the src/ui/templates/*.html markup (applied at
boot by applyDocumentTranslations from src/standalone/application.js),
and the dock locale selector (runtime-rendered from the offered pair —
a single EN button while only English ships).

Rebased onto current main, where the extraction follows the module
splits: the shell wiring now lands in the owner modules
(panelChrome, visualSettings, locationNavigation, shareRestoration,
shellFeedback, applicationShell) and the voice status corpus in the
realtime* modules; scene status lives in director.js +
playbackAdapter.js.

Modules shared with the node runtime (loadingFeedback,
installationFeedback, regionalModel, keySetupCore, vessels ingestion)
stay environment-neutral English and localize at their browser render
sites (chip maps in shellFeedback/installations controls, the weather
table in cockpitBriefing, keySetupRequirementEnvVars compositions), so
the package-boundary graph stays clean; the browser boundary groups
now own the i18n modules they reach (scripts/package-boundaries.json).

Said TurkseverandClaude Fable 5.1 2dbc684fb1 refactor(street-level): rename the Mapillary layer to street-level
Pure move: the layer id, panel id, CSS prefix, classes, exports and config
paths become provider-neutral (street-level, #street-level-panel, sl-);
the Mapillary-specific modules move under providers/mapillary/. Behaviour
is unchanged. The two sprite collections now register under distinct ids
instead of overwriting each other under 'mapillary'.

Said TurkseverandClaude Fable 5.1 9ba6f96d87 Merge upstream/main into pr/mapillary-layer
Upstream took share token '2' for fire perimeters, so Street Level moves to
'3'. mapillary-js joins upstream's optimizeDeps include list instead of
overriding it; catalog and registry tests count the new upstream layers.

513dc87a0e feat(hud): Cyber HUD theme with GPU contact sonar (#706)
Add the opt-in Cyber HUD layout with coordinated map and cockpit panel
styling, GPU-only contact sonar (rings, range, power, opacity, sector) with
native-rendering fallback, and set_cyber_sonar voice controls. Sonar visual
style inspired by kk376's tactical naval sonar (#214).

1fc795577a feat(sdr): local receivers — browser RTL-SDR, Local ADS-B layer and decoder feeds (#732)
Adds a Local ADS-B layer fed by your own receivers: a browser WebUSB
RTL-SDR (with FM listening) and local 1090/978 MHz decoder feeds
(LOCAL_RECEIVER_FEEDS, local and private addresses only). Local aircraft
draw in magenta with class, silhouettes, 3D models, trails and a position
sanity filter; the click card names the band and input that heard them.

Builds on Sameh Khamis's SDR prototype and the initial GEV port by
Mazeyar Moeini Feizabadi (#134); the decoder-feed design follows the
notes on #57. Closes #57.

Bilawal Sidhuandmanjunath22466 082074a006 feat(layers): Recent Imagery — open satellite imagery for a selected box (#716)
Select a box on the world and browse the last 30 days of open satellite imagery over it, keyless: NASA GIBS Harmonized Landsat Sentinel-2 (30 m) and the VIIRS daily overview (250 m), with a day strip, IMAGE / VS BASEMAP / A / B modes with a swipe divider, PNG export and share links. The before/after swipe from the Nepal scene moves into shared modules so both use it.

0251c74109 feat(weather): add globe wind, observed weather and cyclone context (#617)
Wind (NOAA GFS and ECMWF IFS: animated particles, colour field, a reading at map centre), observed weather (NOAA MRMS radar, GOES and NESDIS infrared clouds, lightning density) on one shared history timeline, NHC and CPHC cyclone advisories with tracks and cones, and a WEATHER panel in the right rail. On 3D Tiles the observed products render as raised shells with a sharper window around the view.

Bilawal Sidhu 0bb61f53c6 fix(transit): keep the real silhouettes under sensor presets, make the selected trail visible, put Transit in Movement (#596)
## Changes

Follow-up to #587 after the owner's first look at the merged transit layer on Google 3D tiles.

- **Sensor presets keep the real silhouettes.** Under NVG, thermal (white-hot, black-hot, Ironbow) and noir, vehicles are the same silhouettes as in normal view, filled opaque white with a 2 px dark halo, at the CRT display sizes (26 px fleet, 39 px selected). The solid rounded "signature" bodies are gone.
- **The selected vehicle's trail is visible.** The retained history is now draped onto 3D tiles and terrain (`GroundPolylinePrimitive`, `ClassificationType.BOTH`, the way the traffic heat-lines are drawn), 3 px core over a 5 px dark backing, per-segment age colour, a short draped head clipped to the sprite. Two defects kept it off screen before: Cesium's per-instance attribute getters return copies, so the renderer's show/colour edits were discarded, and a marker did not recover after the camera jumped to it, which hid the trail with it. Trail geometry is now prepared on selection independent of floor resolution and marker visibility; sparse long intervals (rail) keep a bounded marker corridor instead of dropping the interval; classification survives map-source changes.
- **Transit sits in the Movement panel group** between Street Traffic and Bike Share (the panel orders by `PANEL_GROUPS`, not by catalog order; the catalog is moved too).

## How it was verified

- `npm run format:check` (854 files), `npm run check:boundaries`, `npm test` (4,062 passing), `npm run build` clean; tracking regression 109/109 in a real browser on Google 3D tiles.
- Browser harness (`scripts/qa-transit.mjs`), keyed on Google 3D tiles and keyless: keyed 194 pass, with the trail pixel check passing at 300, 600 and 900 m; the remaining keyed failures are the per-frame allocation gate already recorded as a follow-up from #587 (CPU and frame time within budget), four readability lines at threshold edges, and the card-anchor check now counting frames where the selected marker is legitimately off screen; keyless 193 pass with the remaining misses being threshold edges on the thin tram silhouette (centre 0.83–0.88 against 0.85) and one bus ring 0.28 against 0.25 on a pure-white roof.
- New harness checks: `Google 3D selected trail visible at 6 of 8 projected samples` (repeated off/on framebuffer captures at 300/600/900 m, samples outside the sprite footprint, a background-change negative control; fails on main, passes here), a camera-arrival check (select a moving vehicle, `setView` onto it, marker shown and trail body drawn within 2 s), `PANEL_ORDER` pinned, raster tests comparing every sensor raster's mask and aspect ratio to the normal silhouette.
- Direct look on a keyed build: a live CapMetro bus at 30 m/s selected through the layer API draws its draped trail along the highway lane (harness capture `keyed-600m-trail-visible.jpg`).
- Adversarial review by Codex Astra before the last two fix passes (stack-switch classification, marker corridor under the vertex cap, pixel-gate loophole), all three fixed with regressions.

Docs: `docs/CURRENT-STATE.md` and `CHANGELOG.md` updated in this PR. No data-source changes.

Bilawal Sidhu 1ad565c8af Keep your target in view: smooth camera controls and organized data layers (#583)
## Explore the map without losing your target
Tilt and north-up used to stop tracking an aircraft or satellite. Both controls now keep the selected target centered while easing into the new angle over 650 ms, preserving camera range. Tilt switches between top-down and oblique views; north-up takes the shortest rotation. Rapid presses reverse a pending tilt, and pressing north-up during a tilt completes both changes.

New navigation, target selection, map gestures, and teardown cancel the transition. Cockpit keeps its existing camera guard.

## A data panel that follows how you explore
The panel now has five clearly labeled sections:

| Section | Layer order |
| --- | --- |
| Movement | Satellites → Live Flights → Military Flights → Live Vessels → Street Traffic → Bike Share |
| Cameras | Cameras → Mapped ALPR Cameras |
| Infrastructure | Mapped Installations → Data Centers → Submarine Cables → Dams |
| Events | Space Missions → Earthquakes → Active Fires |
| Utilities | Directions → Radio |

Readable panel labels replace CCTV, Bikeshare, Datacenters, and provider-heavy names. Source attribution remains in the subtitles, and toggle accessibility labels match the visible names. Presentation order is independent of layer registration; hidden layers stay hidden and unlisted layers remain available under Other layers.

## Validation
- Camera changes: full Node 24 suite, including allocation gates — 3,699 passing and one skipped.
- Final panel changes: 42 focused tests passed; browser inspection confirmed all sections, ordering, and labels.
- Real Cesium Camera/EntityView tests cover moving aircraft, low/high satellites, cancellation, navigation ownership, and rapid button presses.
- Live browser: UITMSAT-2 remained centered and selected through tilt and north-up, including combined commands.
- Final formatting, package-boundary checks, and production build pass.
- GitHub CI verifies the final head on Node 24, Node 26, and Windows onboarding before merge.
